Managing Notifications

For security and audit reasons and it is necessary that you receive a copy of each order as it is placed. This ensures that you will have a full record of any changes made to the order and makes it easy to resolve any disputes that may arise.

To create a rule in Gmail that automatically moves emails whose subject begins with "[Support My Local] New Store Order" to a folder called "Support My Local Orders," follow the steps below:

Step 1: Access the Gmail Settings

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open the Quick settings panel.
  3. Click on See all settings to open the full settings menu.

Step 2: Go to Filters and Blocked Addresses

  1. Navigate to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
  2. Click on Create a new filter.

Step 3: Configure the Filter Criteria

  1. In the Subject field, enter:
    [Support My Local] New Store Order
    • This matches emails with subjects that begin exactly with the specified text.
  2. In the Has the words field, enter:
    • This ensures that only emails that also contain the word "contains" in their body are filtered.
  3. Leave other fields empty.
  4. Click on Create filter.

Step 4: Set the Action for the Filter

  1. In the filter actions screen, check the box Skip the Inbox (Archive it) to prevent it from showing in the inbox.
  2. Check the box Apply the label and from the dropdown, choose Support My Local Orders.
    • If the label does not exist, click on New label, enter "Support My Local Orders," and click Create.
  3. Make sure to check Also apply filter to matching conversations if you want it to apply to past emails as well.
  4. Click Create filter.

Step 5: Confirm and Test

  • Your filter is now created. Test it by sending an email that matches the criteria to verify that it moves correctly into the "Support My Local Orders" folder.

This setup ensures that any new email with the specified subject and containing the specified text is automatically moved to the designated folder upon receipt.

To create a rule in Outlook Desktop that automatically moves emails whose subject begins with "[Support My Local] New Store Order" and contains specific text to a folder called "Support My Local Orders" as soon as they are received, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Rules and Alerts

  1. Open Outlook Desktop.
  2. Go to the Home tab on the Ribbon.
  3. Click on Rules in the Move group, and then select Manage Rules & Alerts.

Step 2: Create a New Rule

  1. In the Rules and Alerts dialog box, click on New Rule.
  2. Under Start from a blank rule, select Apply rule on messages I receive, then click Next.

Step 3: Set Conditions for the Rule

  1. In the Which condition(s) do you want to check? window:
    • Check with specific words in the subject.
    • Check with specific words in the body.
  2. In the bottom pane:
    • Click on specific words next to "with specific words in the subject" and enter:
      [Support My Local] New Store Order
      • Click Add, then OK.
    • Click on specific words next to "with specific words in the body" and enter:
      contains
      • Click Add, then OK
  3. Click Next.

Step 4: Set the Action for the Rule

  1. In the What do you want to do with the message? window:
    • Check move it to the specified folder.
  2. In the bottom pane:
    • Click on specified and select the folder Support My Local Orders.
      • If this folder does not exist, click New to create it. Name it Support My Local Orders, and click OK.
  3. Click Next.

Step 5: Set Any Exceptions (Optional)

  1. If you don’t want any exceptions, simply click Next.

Step 6: Complete the Rule

  1. Give the rule a name, for example, Move Support My Local Orders.
  2. Check the box Turn on this rule.
  3. Optionally, check Run this rule now on messages already in “Inbox” if you want to apply it to existing messages.
  4. Click Finish, then Apply, and OK.

Step 7: Test the Rule

  • The rule is now set up and active. Send a test email that matches the criteria to verify that it moves to the Support My Local Orders folder as intended.

This rule setup ensures that any new email with the specified subject and containing the specified text is automatically moved to the designated folder immediately upon receipt.

To create a rule in Outlook Web (Outlook on the web or OWA) that automatically moves emails whose subject begins with "[Support My Local] New Store Order" and contains specific text to a folder called "Support My Local Orders" immediately when they are received, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Outlook Settings

  1. Log in to Outlook Web through your browser.
  2. Click on the Settings gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. At the bottom of the settings pane, select View all Outlook settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Rules

  1. In the Settings menu, go to Mail.
  2. Select Rules from the menu on the left.

Step 3: Create a New Rule

  1. Click Add new rule.
  2. Give the rule a name, for example, Move Support My Local Orders.

Step 4: Configure the Rule Conditions

  1. Under Add a condition, choose Subject includes.
    • Enter:
      [Support My Local] New Store Order
  2. Click on Add another condition and select Body includes.

Step 5: Set the Action for the Rule

  1. Under Add an action, select Move to.
  2. Choose the folder Support My Local Orders.
    • If the folder does not exist, click New folder at the bottom of the list, name it Support My Local Orders, and click Save.

Step 6: Save the Rule

  1. Make sure there are no exceptions unless you specifically want to set any.
  2. Click Save to create the rule.

Step 7: Test the Rule

  • The rule is now active. Test it by sending an email that matches the criteria to confirm that it automatically moves to the Support My Local Orders folder.

This setup ensures that any new email with the specified subject and containing the specified text is automatically moved to the specified folder as soon as it arrives.
