" >I am a SE London born visual artist and jewellery designer/maker based in Brockley.
My work explores themes of transition, manipulation, ephemerality and ‘imperfection’ using found objects, waste material and organic matter, fused with precious and semi-precious elements. I have a fascination with texture, degradation and decay and in the traces and residues left behind often using my body as tool and material to explore the transference, intervention and preservation of the self.
Due to the processes and materials I use no two pieces are identical, creating truly one of kind wearable artworks.
I use ‘Eco’, sustainably sourced, recycled, biodegradable, reclaimed materials in my work and packaging as much as possible.
Circular economy principles are an important part of my practice. I am constantly seeking out alternative non-toxic and resource-efficient processes, and ways to reuse and incorporate waste materials produced in making work to create new work. I am passionate about sourcing materials with my own hands, re-using what is already in circulation, and giving new life to what cannot be recycled.
I strive to maintain a more ethical, environmentally responsible and sustainable practice.
All of my precious metal jewellery is hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
I am a member of The Guild of Jewellery Designers, The Society of British Jewellers and The Association for Contemporary Jewellery.
